1. What are some tips for getting/keeping my house clean?
Maintenance! Keep things picked up, have kids help pick up toys each evening.
A place for everything and everything in its place! Make sure to have good storage solutions in your house so things are easy to put away and find again
Use a chore chart to help with cleaning, young kids can help do lots of things: cleaning tables after meals, putting away dishes, feeding animals, sorting laundry, dusting, vacuuming etc.
2. What are some effective ways to deal with clutter?
Remove anything that is not necessary or currently used
Have a "de-clutter" challenge: Give each person a trash bag to take to their room and have them fill it with un-used toys and clothes. Sort items together for trash or donation.
3. What are some organizational tools to use in dealing with storage?
Clear plastic rubber-maid bins, make sure to label on face of bin so you can easily see what's inside
Wire shelving units: Keep things off the floor! It is hard to get to bottom and back bins
Use bookshelves for books instead of letting them pile up everywhere. Alphabetize if possible
4. Suggestions for cleaning with natural inexpensive products?
Use vinegar for laundry, dishwasher, & vinegar/water mix for mopping floors
Downey ball in washer for hard to remove odors
Scrape water deposits from faucets with butter knife
Soap Scum on showers: Rain-Ex helps keep it off
